Transmet I.S. is an easy to install, self-contained dew point transmitter for the measurement of the dew point of gases, and has been specifically designed for use within hazardous areas. Housed in a stainless steel case, Transmet I.S. offers ingress protection to NEMA 4X. With a wide operating range from -150 to +70°F dew point and accuracy of up to 1.8°F dew point it is the most complete dew-point transmitter available. Transmet I.S. has a fast response speed that gives the user a continuous measurement in real time. No configuration or calibration is necessary - Transmet I.S. is delivered configured and calibrated, ready for installation and operation.

Hazardous Area Approvals
TRANSMET I.S. is certified intrinsically safe for use in Hazardous areas, by E.E.C.S. (BASEEFA) and covered by Supplementary EC-Type examination certificate BAS01ATEX1240X/1. The instrument conforms to the ATEX standards specified in EN 50014:1997 + amendments 1 & 2, EN 50020:1994 and EN 50284:1999, with certification code EEx ia IIC T4 (-20 °C<Ta<60 °C). The instrument conforms to the CSA North American Standards C22.2 No. 142-M1987, C22.2 No. 30-M1986, UL508, UL1203 for safe use within hazardous locations and has been assessed so by CSA International. Class 1, Division 1, Groups A, B, C & D T4 certificate 1248727 (LR 114519). The instrument conforms to the FM North American Standards Class 3600, 3610, 3810, for use in hazardous locations and has been assessed so by FM.
